McQuilling de Mexico to Participate in 2015 OSV & Subsea Vessels Conference

Managing Director of McQuilling de Mexico, Mr. Diego Aguilar, will participate at the 2015 OSV & Subsea Vessels Conference in Mexico City on Thursday June 25 at the Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel Hotel. Mr. Aguilar will discuss evaluation chartering contracts in Mexico and internationally, with a specific focus on the following topics:
- Mexican merchant marine and navigation permits
- Differences in chartering contracts for subsea vessels and other asset classes
- Role of CAMEINTRAM and overview of the vessel contract bidding and selection process
- Key vessel selection requirements from Pemex: age, capacity, capabilities
- Leasing in Mexico compared to other parts of the world
- Current and expected day rates
In addition to Mr. Aguilar’s participation, Capital Markets Advisor of McQuilling Atlas Advisors in Mexico City, Mr. Paul Escott, will partake in a panel to discuss strategies for obtaining finance for vessels and projects in Mexico on June 24. Mr. Escott will be joined on the panel by Mr. Philippe Wulfers, VP Offshore Finance, DVB Bank and Rafael Salinas Sánchez, Inventory Financing Deputy Foreign Trade, Bancomext.
